| Okay, A-list actors like Angelina Jolie, Piolo Pascual, Judy Ann Santos, Sandra Bullock, Reese Witherspoon, Brad Pitt, Leo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp and Tom Cruise make blockbuster, hi-budget flicks, but they also make small movies that showcase their acting prowess and not their stellar good looks. This only proves that no matter how much money you make in tinseltown, you're not a true actor if you've got no Oscar, Urian, Cinemalaya,Sundance or Cannes nomination at least. Now there are so many gifted actors who are often overlooked by the box-office but not by the award-giving bodies. This is where we pay homage to them who do it for the love of acting.

| Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind is a brilliant movie. It stars Jim Carrey..Should have earned better promotion if only for the name. I did not hear any positive recommendation but I got the dvd and....LOVED it. Hello to both amazing authors | |

Foreign Films -Cinema Paradiso -Amelie -La vita è bella -Il Mare
Classic Movies -Breakfast at Tiffany's -Sabrina -The Graduate -Casablanca -Gone with the Wind (err not low budget haha)
And how I wish I can watch classic pinoy treasures from Peque Gallaga and Lino Brocka etc. LOLs. Comm Arts ka noong college? These are the types of films my professor let us watched. (foreign films) And you're right, those were great ones! | |
